Hugo K. Sievers
He was born in Rengo the 23th October of 1903. he studied in the German School. Grammar school of Application and in the University of Chile, where he is titled in 1925 of veterinary. In 1926 it is transferred to the Argentine Republic Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Silver. In 1928 study in Brazil in the Institute Osvaldo Cruz. Later he is transferred Europe, in where first in the Institute Luis Pasteur works soon of Paris and in the Institute of Tropical Diseases of Hamburg, where he graduates himself, by the end of 1929. He was sent in mission of studies by the Government and the University of Chile a: Peru, Mexico, the United States, Japan, China, Korea, Indochina, India, Egypt, Italy.
he was member of the Chilean Academy of Natural Sciences, Chilean Society of Microbiology, Chilean Society of Natural History, Scientific Society of Chile, Society of Biology and Veterinary Medicine Society.
he appears in respective acts like cofounder of the Academy of Students of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medicine Society, Chilean Natural Medicine Society, Society of Normal and Pathological Anatomy.
He was President of the scientific Society of Chile.
He death in 1972.
